;Meet ProfitMart Coach Rob Kennedy!
Welcome back! Staying active in the blog and community has been the key to success for many ProfitMart members.
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Rob Kennedy and I have been involved in affiliate marketing for just over two years now.
Working diligently part time to master both the Profitmart & Pro2 systems has enabled me to live a lifestyle realized by very few. Growing up in rural Nova Scotia, Canada, realizing my dream of owning a Hummer H3 with a Stratos Bass boat in tow would never have been possible without the tools created by the Davies brothers.
With a little patience, education, and perseverance, I applied the lessons Ron and Rick have learned to succeed, and proven these lessons will work for me. Now I am ready to pass these skills and knowledge on to you.
It is my honor and pleasure to be your coach, and I look forward to helping you make your affiliate dreams a reality!
The wonderful thing about Profitmart is that you get to create, promote and reap the benefits "your" site has to offer. As we are in the early stages of Profitmart Select, I will encourage you to start by:
1. Ensuring all affiliate IDs have been entered on your admin page as they are the cornerstone of the system and your affiliate referrals.
2. From there, I would like to encourage you to start looking at written content for your site.
Be sure to check back periodically for updates on my update page.
Also, we seem to be getting lots of questions on how to get assigned a coach. Basically folks, simply follow the coach that best suits your needs. Each and every coach has great information to pass on and all my colleagues are wonderful Profiteers and have my utmost respect!

I am so glad and happy to see that you are here to help!! I just became a member of Profitmart and can’t wait to start making money online. This is the first time i’ve ventured out and put my trust and (little $) online to someone I don’t know or can’t touch. These guys sound like they are almost too good to be real. I havn’t gotten my website up yet, but am not sure if that will happen for me. I rec’d an email from Rick saying that I should be getting a notice in my email that me website is ready. Will it me ready to promote or will I have to build it? I’m not going to know how to do this if I do.

My name is Harold from Kingston Tennessee. I have been around affiliate marketing for a few years already, but with very little success. I guess I am an old dog trying to learn new tricks, and am very willing to learn.
I have an aflilliate site that we have had (Non-Profit Mart), & have made some money on it, but not what we want to make. I am in the process of redesigning it, but need help in properly developing it & promoting it properly to be successful.
I joined ProfitMart (advanced) late last summer, & have the a website set up (not sure if it is set up properly to be successful), but do not know or understand how to promote the site properly.
I am very much looking to learn all that we can from the coaching.

Hello Rob,
I have been a PRO2 member since November. PRO2 mentions an autoresponder service but I do not see it in the admin panel or any documentation. Other issues that concern me are list building and Traffic Swarm and little documentation to set myself up properly and quickly.
There are things I want to do with my website such as include a video or audio but have no idea how to go about changing the html since I cannot access it. Sounds like I need some help right? Otherwise I am enthusiastic about PRO2 and want to get started ASAP.

Hi Bruce and thanks for your comment. As the cpanel functions are the same for both the Pro2 and Profitmart systems, I feel comfortable answering this within the Profitmart forum. Firstly, it is extremely important to view the tutorials and video guides provided by the Davies Brothers as they are an incredible useful tool and will answer most if not all of your questions regarding the cpanel, autoresponder, domain forwarder, adding files etc. I will post a snapshot of the cpanel and some functions for the group on my update page for all to take a peek at in order to get some of the basic functions out of the way.

Did you ever think there would be this many people wanting help. I have been trying to make money as an affiliate for a couple of years now with very little success.I have set everything eles aside and I plan on going full force with my profitmart site.I don’t know if anyone eles has had this problem or not but there have been times when I have sumbitted a ticket at other places and had to wait a week or so for help with a problem that only toog 2 minutes to fix. If you know what your doing but it held me up for a week.I really need to talk to someone to make things clear.Can’t wait to get started.

Hi Mike, thanks for the comment. You would have received an email from each of the affiliate companys you signed up with. If you are unable to locate them, I would suggest you email their support folks requesting the info.

I have a niche, now about the content. Is the content simply articles either of my own or wherever I find them?

Hi Rob! Like many others here I’d been floundering and sifting through a myriad of offers trying to determine which was “real”. I’ve found it! Kudos to the Davies brothers for putting together an all-inclusive package at a reasonable price in a manner even we “newbies” can understand (‘tho I still have some questions…lol). I had already been following the Messrs. Davies and was impressed by their sincerity, direct approach, and ethical practices. The concept of “coaching” is what finally sold me. I’m looking forward to a long relationship that will be profitable for us both. (Should I have posted this as a “testimonial”?)
Questions:
-Already a member of Clickbank and PayDotCom and those functions appear to be OK. Have applied for EBay and Amazon affiliate status. Will they approve even ‘tho the website is not yet live – or should it have been published first before submitting the affiliate app?
-Already have an Adsense account and that seems to work in the middle of the page but the other areas are blank. (I’ve triple checked and do have the proper boxes checked.) Will they function on publication?
-I’d like to include additional products from other affiliate programs to round out the niche: provide a one-stop shopping source to build dedicated customers. After adding an article and playing around with adding a few banners and links, visitors would have to scroll well down the page to get to CB and EBay. Is this advisable?
-Or, is there a method of adding these banners and links at the bottom of the side bars where there’s plenty of empty space?
-Once the initial niche is up and running, I’d like to round out other categories, include a couple more, and advertise specifically for those locations. Will this work? Is this the function of the “jump page”?
-If the meta description is specific to the initial niche, will it negatively affect my future intended activities? I think I really need some to take a look at this aspect.
-Is it advisable to publish now (Amazon and EBay gave no time frame for reviewing apps)? What about optimization?

Hey Rob…As an update: Just got rejected by eBay – standard form letter with no explanation. I will call them but my J>O>B prevents that from ocurring for at least 48 hrs. I have never had a negative relationship with this firm. I read a post somewhere here that at least 1 other person had the same issue. Have you heard of others?

Hi Susan, thank you so much for the comment/testimonial. We have seen a few clients rejected from a number of affiliates which from what we have determined, has been solely a result of lack of content etc. For everyone, please remember that your affiliate id’s can be plugged in at any time. Having said this, please start work on your site content as soon as possible.
Now, as for additional affiliates? What an excellent way to diversify your site. The more the merrier, however, remember to stick to your “niche” whatever that may be. Focus on a product or series of products related to your niche. Your niche can be changed at any time but it simply means starting over as most times, it takes weeks or months to properly promote your site.

I just signed up with the Profitmart site as advance member to get the Select option.
I must say that what is said about that is very interesting and exiting!
I have chosen my niche, the Forex Market, and made my Profitmart side around that.

What I missed and have asket support about (but yet not got any reply) is why the submition center do not work. It is not possible to get in there from the control panel.
I also like to know what “Clickbank Contextual” is for?
And I am not a computer or html guru, so I just wonder what I need to do with my http URL addresses on my site, to get them open in a new window?. Is there any html code to add in the URL? (When adding a http:// link?).
I’m looking forward to work with you as my mentor for making my site top ranked on the major search engines.
In lack of ways to send my website to search engine during the Profitmart control panel, I used “Submit Express” and hope that is OK.
I just checked the keyword and the site got 100%
I also checked whois lock up and the site got 92% CEO friendly. I really do hope you can help me to get the site 100% CEO friendly!!

This is David from Sydney, Australia and Joined Profit Mart Advanced a week ago. Was waiting for the instructions of what to do next but it never came. Here i am, just filled in all the Affiliate IDs and found this blog. I’m still not sure what to do next and it seems most of the new members are asking the same questions and would appreciate pointing to the right direction of how to get started with Profit Mart.

The advice not to get into the work from home market is probably sound but unfortunately I spent a fair bit of money with Michael Cheney for his Golden Thread program and this has given me 3 video training products for affiliate marketing, list building and social networking.
I wanted to promote these if I can but if you think i’m wasting my time, I’ll choose another niche.

Hi Jodi, written content is what we need on our site introducing our product. This could be anything from a short intro to article type content. We want to capture our clients attention immediately and give them the 30 second elevator speech as to capture their interest.

Folks, traffic to your site is dependent upon many things, however, what we can do is set the site up with appropriate keys words etc to obtain that organic search we need to boost our sites. I explained earlier on my Update page how to go about obtaining key words through Google’s Keyword Tool.
