Good Information Can be Free - Even in Print!

Hi all,

 sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, chances are that no matter what kind of information  you seek, there is someone out there that will be happy to take your money to provide that very information.  The fact is though that information is an intangible thing, and as such the old saying “You get what you pay for” does not necessarily apply as readily as it might with tangible things, where good quality materials might affect the price.

It might be just the 2 zillion hours/week I spend online, but from time to time I manage to stumble across an excellent informational product that is inexpensive, even free, but usually it is a downloadable item, like an ebook or whatnot- you know, the kind of thing where the provider is not going to incurr an expense in sending the thing to me.

sidenote: Amazingly, great ebooks that are given away seem to be less popular than the ones people have to pay for. I suppose that goes back to “perception of value”? hmmm…
