This post is all about your mindset and how YOU can best position YOU to succeed. Sort of an SEO for your brain. Let’s call it “Self-employment Evaluation Optimization” :)
A lot of newbie marketers make the mistake of falling for systems that tell you they will “do it all for you”. So, if they do it all for you, whay do they need you at all? Other than for your money.
Don’t get me wrong. There are many programs out there that do have very comprehensive systems that include just about everything you need to succeed (like ProfitMart.com’s Select program), but we still need you to do a bit of learning and add content and customize your site, and take a daily active role in the promotion of your site. (it really is easy and far from techie…keep tuned in for more very soon!)
I too have been the victim of these other vendor’s claims and lucrative sounding but somewhat misleading statements.
If you are going to succeed on the web, there is one person that is going to hold the brunt of the responsibility for your success. You are face-to-face with them each and every time you look in the mirror.
You.
Believe it or not, some people do little or nothing after joining some programs. They actually click the `JOIN US` button full of great intentions, but intentions never made anyone rich. Some of these people never even read the welcome email or initial account creation details.
They are very quickly positioning themself to fail.
Truth is, these types of people probably account for over 85% of the support that many vendors provide.
A healthy mindset is paramount in ANY business. When you become an affiliate or an online marketer, you become the CEO of your own business. Rely on NOBODY for your success but you. Yes, read, talk with, network and learn from other marketers and affiliate`s experiences, but when it comes right down to whether you succeed or fail, YOU are the deciding factor.
Ron and I and the rest of the team at ProfitMart are more than willing to help anyone that is willing to help themself. I won`t make an effort to make you rich, I will make great efforts to help you LEARN how to make money online. Only you can decide your motivation and determine your level of success.
If you are not willing to spend 30 minutes to an hour a day to build an online business, please do us all a favor and keep looking. This is not the right system for you.
If you are willing to learn a little bit each day and then put what you learned into action, 3-4 months from now you are going to be soooo pumped about your online business that you are going to look forward to the time you spend with your ProfitMart Select system, that it may even be the best hour of the day for you.
Position yourself for success with these simple steps: (really…they are simple folks!)
1. Make a personal commitment to your own success. You are now the CEO and Chairman of the Board of your own company. Make a personal oath to yourself to handling yourself ethically and professionally in all aspects of your business. This business reflects who you are and what you are. Aspire to greater heights, and do not stoop for the almighty dollar.
2. Take responsibility for your success or failure. When you succeed look in the mirror and congratulate yourself ( maybe even a pat on the back ). If you fail, that`s ok. still look in the mirror and learn from the failure. File it for future reference and move on. No need to kick yourself in the butt over a failure (unless you did something really stupid like spamming etc, because then you really do deserve the kick!) I don`t know of a single success story that didn`t use the valuable experience gained from their failures to help them on the road to success.
3. Strive to learn something new about your business, niche or on promotion each day and then put what you learned into action. Many affiliate marketers are paralyzed with the fear of doing something wrong. The biggest error you can do is doing nothing.
4. Surround youself with positve minded people. Ignore those that say you can`t do it. You Can! You need to believe you can do it too and if you surround yourself with negative minded people, you will find it tougher to stay motivated and positive minded about your business.
