SIMPLE WAYS TO INCREASE YOUR WEBSITE CONVERSION

First let’s look at the word conversion. In Internet marketing, conversion is the ability of the website to turn a visitor into a buyer.  If you direct a person from any source to a website and that person buys a product, patronizes a service or undertakes any desired action, then you have conversion.

So we ask the question, under what circumstances will someone patronize a website?

The first attempt to increase your conversion must start with your keywords. In your ad, let the keyword take prominence in the wording. Let the visitor know that if he clicks through to your website he is going to get so and so product or service. That way you prepare his mind to buy or patronize.

You ad should presell your product. Preselling is the technique of persuading a visitor into a potential buyer. If you presell, you recommend a product to a visitor. In effect you introduce the product to him and then ask him to go the main site to get more information. If you do the job well, the visitor will be willing to buy.

Design your landing pages very well. They should explain your product or service. If you have any incentives, promotions, reductions or special coupons, they should appear at the beginning of the page to appeal to the visitor.
